It has also provided the impetus for incumbent institutions to innovate, create and deploy an empathetic journey and experience. To do so effectively, interpreting insights and accepting value feedback from customers has become a mandate across banking segments.

Dale Nute is a leader in design, with experience that spans across Television, News, Banking, and F&B. He has worked with global brands such as Sky, Pepsi, The Times & Sunday Times, Graze, Virgin Media as well as the UK Government, and most recently, TMRW digital bank owned by UOB.

Roopa Malhotra
Head of Digital,
CHUBB

Roopa Malhotra is Head of Digital for Chubb in Asia Pacific. In this role, Ms. Malhotra is responsible for leading the digital business across the region and driving revenue for Chubb and its partners through this distribution channel.

In her last 12 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry, she has gained valuable experience across various aspects of the business from catastrophe pricing, product development to successfully executing strategic partnerships.

Ms. Malhotra joined Chubb in 2015 as a Regional Catastrophe Manager in the Property & Casualty Division to oversee the pricing and portfolio management. Two years later, she ventured into the newly formed Digital Division to lead Product Development and was soon promoted to Digital Partnership Manager to oversee Chubb’s strategic partnerships. In this role, she and her team successfully collaborated with Grab to introduce a series of innovative insurance products across Grab’s ecosystem for its delivery partners and passengers in the region.

Prior to joining Chubb, Ms. Malhotra worked with AIG and MSIG. She started her career in 2008 in India’s hedge fund industry with The D.E. Shaw Group as an analyst before relocating to Singapore in 2010.

Ms. Malhotra holds an MBA in Finance. She is passionate in exploring different forms of exercises in her pursuit of fitness and health.

Rebecca is an experienced human-centered designer and research leader and practitioner. Her 20 years of experience spans corporate, agency and start-up, working with numerous industries and organizations globally to evangelize, democratize and build capability within the user research space. She spent six years as the head of UX at News Corp Australia prior to joining User Testing as a senior solutions consultant to support many organizations optimize their insights gathering process across the APAC region.
