ZA Bank has announced the launch of ZA Quest, a new feature that invites users to do quests and earn rewards1 in a fun way, offering an innovative and creative digital banking experience.
ZA Quest is a user’s exclusive game room in the ZA Bank App. Features include:
- Mobile game-like quests. ZA Bank has designed various kinds of quests for users to finish anytime in the ZA Bank App. The first batch of quests include: Turn On Push Notifications, Set Nickname, Verify Email Address, Add Money via “Easy Deposit”, Users can enjoy ZA Bank App’s fast, seamless and convenient features as they complete the quests. Each user will be assigned a unique set of quests based on their usage of the ZA Bank App. The quests will be updated regularly, allowing users to unlock new ones while gradually learning more about ZA Bank’s products and services.
- Rewards in a capsule. User will win a “ZA Capsule” for every completed quest, and get a randomly assigned reward as they open the The rewards will be instantly credited to users’ account in the form of ZA Coin2, which can then be converted into cash for spending. Users have a higher chance for winning bigger rewards with more difficult quests, earning up to 200,000 ZA Coins (equivalent to HKD 2,000) for unlimited times.
- Interactions with “special guests”. ZA Bank’s brand characters Zappy and Alfie will be the “special guests” to interact with users in the App. In addition to rewards, users will also get a picture of Zappy or Alfie in themed outfits. Each appearance carries a different character trait, creating a small surprise for They can also set the themed appearance as their profile picture, or print as posters to share with friends.

The current edition of ZA Quest has a Christmas theme with a seasonal interface. A limited-time quest will be rolled out on 25 December, allowing users to share the festive joy with their loved ones.
